4 Árias de Ópera (4 Opera Arias)

On the occasion of Jorge Salavisa’s farewell from the artistic direction of Ballet Gulbenkian, the choreographers Clara Andermatt, João Fiadeiro, Paulo Ribeiro and Vera Mantero were invited to create a piece for an aria of their choice, harmonizing the four pieces to share the same set, designed by the architect Siza Vieira. Andermat chose Georg Friederich Haendel’s aria “Privarmi Ancora” from the opera “Flavio, Re de' Longobardi”, to choreograph a piece for ten interpreters.
